Thinking Needles…

Hi! Welcome to my new blog, “Thinking Needles.” One of the most exciting things for me about Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in general is that from the first day I began studying there has not been a single day when I didn’t learn something new. Whether it’s an article I read on the train going to work, something I heard from a colleague or a discovery I make in my own practice, there just seems to be no end to the fascinating work that is being done, and the potential for healing that’s all around us!

For instance, here’s an article about how Acupuncture is being used in combination with western therapies to treat a patient’s sciatica problem. Sciatica and the pain associated with it is something I encounter with many of my patients, and I am always looking for ways to improve my treatment modalities.
